Hardcore awesome thunderstorm last night. Pretty neat to watch and listen to.

Except that it blew out the power in my goddamn house.

So here I am at work again, and I had to take the bus because I couldn't get my car out of the garage and poor Oni is stuck in Humid House McSatanhot without a fan and I'm so worried about her and while the milk and stuff in my fridge will probably be okay because I only opened it briefly to get piggy food, my paranoia will ultimately cause me to dump it out.

And I really need my alarm clock to be working tomorrow morning.

And work smells funny.

Poot.

I don't suppose anyone would be willing to call me and wake me up at 6:30 am CST tomorrow if my power doesn't come back on? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Gah, that sucks. >< (And I have no "that sucks" icon, so this will have to do for now.) But if the power went out last night, it'll probably be back tomorrow morning, right? Or you could get a battery-operated alarm clock or something, if it doesn't...

of course, i couldn't have done that last night, because my phone wasn't charged and therefore it couldn't have been used as an alarm clock.

The problem is my cell phone was dead until I could get to work to charge it.

Also it's too quiet. I sleep through it all the time. :(
