Made lunch with
decken,
kleptoneko, and
entropyx56, and created what was probably the best tonkatsu I've ever taken part in making.
HOWEVER. After feeling FABULOUS yesterday for the first time in ages, my stomach struck back like the Empire today with GREAT PAIN right as I got to work. It was the not cool, it was like having cramps but for no reason, and I honestly thought I might need to go home.
Pepsi saved the day, however, as did the cake Grethchen and Vicky brought over, and the evening went fast, but then I got home and my stomach was like "HaHAAA SUCKERRR!"
Color me totally bummed by that. :(
In other news, Don and I watched "Syriana" last night, and it was really incredible. I thought it was much more powerful and moving than say, "Munich," and I was nearly in tears at the end. I must have it for my own.
When did movies and the people involved with them become half my life and 75% of my brain? What am I going to do when I am no longer a video slave?
Oh, the angst.
Oh, the hurty.
It's bedtime.
