Mom's surgery went well, but she'll be off her feet for about a month, in a wheelchair for a while because her dislocated shoulder means she can't use crutches, and probably have to stay in our guestroom, which I selfishly am disappointed about because it means no more fun movie time for me in the middle of the night.

Count your blessings, asshole, sheesh. At least my mom will be able to walk again eventually, though not perfectly because of her age. Wah!

God, just thinking about all this makes me tired.

Thanks to my beautiful flist and CoE for being wonderful and supportive. I love you like rockets.

Aw jeez.. that really sucks. Maybe go in and watch movies WITH Mommy. I'm sure keeping her company would help her feel less.. immobile. I know whenever I am unable to walk (which seems quite often, to be honest - I sprain my ankle like it's my JOB, not to mention break things) I always get really frustrated that I can't do things.

Well I'm glad her surgery went well! You can always come watch movies in our basement as long as our dad isn't sleeping down there. Ahahahaha. Welcome to my world.
