I mean to write a more thorough Otakon summary, maybe, but I'm having trouble concentrating lately, and I'm feeling sort of a post-con letdown, so I'll just toss off a few things for now.


-Staff badges are power, and power corrupts absolutely, but mmmm...corruption.
-I saw, independent of Miko, Beanie, Fangy and I, THREE people wearing BDS t-shirts. And I was glad.
-I bought toys. Aside from shiny new Pirate Roy, I also have a little Asuka angel, and a robot wearing earmuffs. EARMUFFS. ROBOTS. FINALLY I CAN HAVE THESE TWO THINGS TOGETHER.
-Next year = me trying to sell art. I mean it this time. Really.
-Tentacle porn: possibly the least erotic thing ever. I watch it for the plot. No really.
-Seeing all the FMA stuff made me remember how much I love it, all over again, though I have a totally lazy way of showing it.
-I got to see and chill with wofl_iron, nyrethak, and kytyngurl2 and that was sweet.
-I think I may actually have slightly dented Aja's mom's car with my belt when I slammed into it in my enthusiasm to greet her, but uh...dun tell.
-Four shots of espresso makes me want to lie on the floor and go to sleep. Man. What the hell.
-I am the queen of texting like the wind. I impress people far and wide.
-I will probably be on staff at NekoCon in November, because if I am not, I deserve to be kicked in the head.
-Despite circe67's questionable taste in men, Archer's dub VA, Troy Baker, is really hot and sweet and awesome. AND HE HUGGED ME. Booyaka. He had a cowboy hat and said that Archer doesn't wear underwear. It was a fabulous moment.

In other fabulous news, THE DAY IS SET. My last day at Four Star is Aug. 18, and I will be leaving for VA on Aug. 22. However, disappointment of the very worst kind has set in, because my cousin Terry can't drive me, so I am flying.

This means I can't take Oni.

DO YOU REALIZE THE GRAVITY OF THAT STATEMENT?!

I can't even process how awful that's going to be, though it's already exhibiting itself in a kind of dull pain. I love her so much, I don't want to leave her behind. I don't know when I'd even get to see her again before December. And my heart breaks.

So this begs the question: WHO WANTS TO DRIVE ME TO VIRGINIA? :D

Come on, you know you want to. Who doesn't love a road trip? Who doesn't love hauling my shit cross-country? COME ON, IT WOULD BE A PARTY AND A HALF.
