You Irish cops are perking up!
Feb. 24th, 2007 02:54 amI am very proud of me because today I read a whole book and didn't fall asleep once! This also means I am ahead on my work, just a little, and that's a very good thing.
I FINALLY just got to see "The Departed" after 923749237942 years of wanting to.
I can't remember how faithfully it follows "Infernal Affairs," but I think it did a good job and it made me happy and it was Southie-tastic and you could just feel Connor and Murphy running around in the background. And it was definitely tense. Definitely full of twists and turns and wow. I will be rooting for it big time on Sunday night.
I was most impressed with the cast, and perversely amused by Mark Wahlberg's character. And may I say it has been a pleasure to watch Leonardo DiCaprio grow up. Being as I was a 14 year old girl when he was Romeo and then died on the Titanic, it is truly awesome to see what he's become and how much more he is than just the pretty boy all the other girls gushed over and who could have become just another washout not too long later.
CONFIDENTIAL TO TIM: Billy Costigan is The One. I couldn't stop thinking about it and I was sold from the beginning. We'll just cancel out that whole part with the elevator. ♥
I'd love to watch Prestige or Equilibrium, but I am so unnaturally tired that I must sleep. Prestige will sleep on the pillow beside me, and tomorrow, it WILL be mine.
Anyone who can find and download the OST for "The Departed" wins a prize! :D
