I've never been to Afghanistan
Nov. 7th, 2007 02:36 pmHappy birthday
theregaltigress! I haven't gotten to talk to you in approximately 500 years, but it seems that things are going well in your life and your fancy job, and I'm glad to hear it. I hope the next year finds you even better, and with many more options for your incredible talents! <3
Last night's episode of House was lolariously awful, and apparently written by a team of gibbering imps in the late stages of syphilis who had never actually seen the show before. It was trite, unclever, boring, had one of the most impossibly wooden and uncharismatic guest actors I've ever had the displeasure to watch, and once again the bare semblence of a non-shitastic plot was waylaid by jackassery.
But I was okay. Because barring some kind of hitherto unforeseen explosion of awesomeness that somehow redeems the destroyed sinking battleship that was my show, I will, as
herongale suggested, close my canon of the show at the end of the third season, and therefore preserve the goodness that was in a bubble of warm, fluffy, Chase-filled wonder.
To anyone who took my advice and started watching the show this season, I humbly apologize. I wish I could personally go to each of your homes and wield the power of my past-season DVDs, so that you may know what once was love.
In other news,
jou is visiting for a few days as of tomorrow, and I need to clean the ick that resides in and around the bathroom sink. And do my laundry. And write a thesis.
