So okay.

Apparently I just spent a lousy season of what used to be my favorite show suffering through horrific plot devices, awful writing, and unbearable new characters, only to find that the conclusion is what we knew from the very beginning when they announced the players. Already marketable TV stars?! WHODATHUNKIT!?!?!?!??

Wow.

I'm glad I put up with shit, no more than five total minutes of my favorite character, and general crappiness so that I can come back and watch a show that's lied about who would be central, denied me any of the relationships I loved, and now starring a character I positively loathe!

Thanks for wasting my time, House!

Edit: And don't even get me started on the bullshit they pulled with Chase tonight! It was like walking through Useless 'R' Us. My favorite part was when they forgot Chase ever had any character development. Ever.

I was so shocked that Chase got a speaking role that everything after that was a meaningless buzz. I can kind of accept Foreman being nasty because he worked with Chase for three years, but damn it Taub! Just because you're balding and older than him does not give you the right to bully Chase! Why couldn't Amber have stayed instead of him? Amber + Old Fraud = Dream Team!

Thank you! I 100% agree with your statements about House in this post.
If by doing what they did this season to keep the show fresh, then this was an effort of massive FAIL.
Why not, I dunno, cause a major rift between House and Wilson? They've had brushes of it, but never full blown RAWR for a long period of time.
I don't like this new team at all. I don't like Kunter/Kumar/Kal Penn's character. I'm not incredibly impressed with 13. I don't like Taub.
I was SO hoping House was going to fire all of them and somehow the ducklings originale would return.
And don't get me started on Cameron's 'I love Dr. House' "im qualifying myself in a mirror in front of Chase" thing.

Shall you build a Pop-tart fueled chainsaw to do these violent things? Need a getaway car? We can make a special getaway seat for Oni?
