Sun salutation
Jan. 25th, 2008 11:09 amYoga with
monkeybobert was a fascinating exploration of my realizing I'm in the worst shape of my life, devoid of all muscle strength. My inner martial artist wept at my inability to maintain a decent front stance and oh god, the shaking, the shaking. I think yoga will be good for me. I told Bob at dinner I was going to go home and go to bed, which was sort of a joke, but then I fell asleep at 8:30 (again WUT O.O) and then I woke up around 3 with amazing pain from things that have not been bent in any direction in a long time. It was all very epic.
enigma731 tagged me for this, and so it shall be.
The rules are easy, just post 10 things that recently made you happy! Then tag 10 people and force them to post this meme on their LJs. Because it is good. Everyone needs a little happiness once in a while.
1. ONI. ONI IS THE PRINCESS OF CUTE. Oni always makes me happy. She had a bath on Sunday and now she is pretty and clean.
2. My mom bought the second season of "The Closer," freeing me to spend my Best Buy gift certificate on the first three discs of "Hell Girl" and the first season of "30 Rock," and I am comfortable with these decisions.
3. I finished my cake. Appreciate my cake more!
4.
donburi and I had a nice dinner for our anniversary and his new Rock Band guitar arrived very quickly.
5. I wrote a fic for Prestige at last, and got wonderful comments from some very special people (I'll answer them soon, I swear!).
6. It snowed a bunch more and was incredibly beautiful if freakishly cold.
7. Soon, Bush will no longer be president.
8. Tuesday I read a whole book in one sitting and didn't fall asleep.
9.
enigma731 sent me some beautiful handmade necklaces, and
mikkeneko gifted me a variety of new Japanese socks. Thank you so much, both of you. I'm so thrilled and so touched. ♥
10. I made $50 for drawing a zombie me getting hit in the face with pizza. It's the most I've ever been paid for art, and I think it's too much considering it took me very little time, but I'm not going to argue.
Feel free to take it if you want to. I'm off to dwell in the cavern of the back of Four Star.
Oh, one other thing. I've decided I finally need to get comment notifications, so uh... anyone know how I do that?

Date: 2008-01-26 03:01 pm (UTC)I got really tired around 9:30 that night and thought I was going to fall asleep (I probably should have just given in and done that...)
Yay for zombie pizza art money. And stringing nouns together.
