Thank you flist for all your help and luck-wishing and awesomeness. :)

For the record, it wasn't an audition, it was just a casting call for extras, which is to say, people in the background of a scene that will probably get cut in the editing room. Whatever, nothing to lose. Except my dignity to a curling iron, but I managed to not sear a blistering line across my forehead.

And so I went, and basically stood in line for a while, but I was standing with interesting people, so I wasn't bored. It was fun to see what people were wearing (and by the way

agamemnon183 you would have been perfect aren't you sorry you moved now bleeeh). They gave me a number and took my picture (and the photo guy said he liked the vest, so you #3 voters were right) and then that was that... except that near the door they were pulling some people to take more pictures of them, and they had me take a picture with another girl, so... I dunno, that felt like a good sign, since not everyone was getting pulled. But this was only at around 11:45, and calls were going all day, but we'll see.

And then I went back to work hooray, my brush with stardom over and the people needing the movies.

Ta-daaaaah! I think/hope my expression was better at the thing. And I liked the shoes but as I was walking back to the car they started to hurt teeeeeerribly.

BUT I AM ALREADY A STAR! Please enjoy my curled hair. It looks better when you can't see most of it. :F

And work was really busy so I came home and fell asleep for three hours and I have to open again tomorrow and it's supposed to snow so I'll probably go back to bed early. But now that my brush with opportunity is over, I have to clean Oni's cage, because if I don't I'm certain she'll kill me in the night.

In conclusion: I had nothing to lose and I felt pretty good about how it went. Keep your fingers crossed for #99!
