And tragically, I don`t have an oven. I mean...well...I might, but I`m not really able to do things in the kitchen here. In that...like...I can`t get food from it. There seem to be hidden kitchen rules or some shit going on. Siiiigh...No caking baking for me until home.

My host mom got me the cutest slippers. They`re orange and have yellow cats embroidered on them. I guess I have to cave in on my oath to only wear my Gir slippers, but bug-eyed green dogs might freak them out.

My real mommy is going to Hungary. WHOA.

And yesterday I found out that all roads really do lead to Oberlin when, in the middle of stupid nowhere Japan, I heard a white woman say "Finney Chapel" and it turns out she just sent her son to Oberlin, and I made a new contact here, although she works on the Doshisha campus that`s an hour long train ride away.

I spent 3 hours on trains yesterday.

I also got the highest score on the Round One Arcade Para Para machine.

I rule!

And that is all.

Now if only, if only, IF ONLY...there weren`t so much horrible mayo in my life...

Wow, way for me to screw up the word order in that title. Shows how much Japanese I`m learning... And I dunno, I bought a cd by a Chinese women`s instrumental group, and it had that song on it. I only found out it was by SMAP when we went to karaoke last week and they picked it.

..so I guess...maybe?
