Today I have had a range of emotions. I think it's because I've been awfully bored.

Some Captain Assfuck also stole a brand new fucking DVD from BEHIND THE COUNTER. Lisa was so mad that she practically threw it at me when she showed it to me. The edge of the new DVD section is right near the porn section, so someone clearly leaned over, grabbed it, and cut it open enough to get the disc out, then abandoned the box in the foreign section. It was "28 Weeks Later," so not a huge loss, but the motherfucking nerve of these assholes is just too much. And I really don't know what to do.

Watching more Bones at work, and I realize that one thing I wish they did -and something X-Files and House were really good at- is push the darkness to the end of the episode, leaving it open. They almost had me when they started playing Placebo's cover of "Running Up That Hill" at the end of one episode, but if they'd just ended it on that scene I would have been totally sold. I liked it anyway despite their pulling out of freefall, but. I'm just saying. I miss House.

And last night

donburi and I saw "The Fall," which was good. Gabe said it was one of the top five movies he's seen ever, and I definitely wouldn't go that far, but it was terribly beautiful to look at and I'm preparing in advance to throw an enormous fit if it's not nominated for cinematography and costumes. Because the costumes make me want to eat chairs in pure delight. I just want to make movies and be a famous photographer, is that so much to ask?

Also: Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos. They burn. They burn so good.

Back to work for an hour before I get to run away home.
