A lousy week has passed, and now it is time to change things for the positive.

I was talking to my dear yawmin last night and I remembered this thing I'd wanted to do.

A few weeks ago at work I went through the 2000 old VHS covers we had in one of the back rooms. I have no idea where the tapes for these things went, but let me tell you there was some pure gold back there. My favorites, though, were the cases for the some of the really old anime we used to have. And I remember seeing some of this shit on the shelves back when I started coming to my store 12 years ago.

I'm gonna split up the post, but please have some pictures from ANIME TIME WISELY FORGOT.

And uh, most of them are kinda NSFW on account of being horrible for porn. :F

And here's the back. What I want to know is what the hell is with the totally incongruous little imp on the spine.



I really like this one, particularly because it's like "look I'm a magical girl show! But with porn!" The title seems so overly complicated when you know they're just going to be throwing their clothes off.



I like that they put all the character descriptions and plot on the back of the box, cuz you're sure as hell not gonna get it watching the show. And I can't stop thinking about the L.A. Lakers, which makes this even weirder.

Dude on the spine looks WAY too excited about that purple dildo.

Seriously, who rented this? And where did the first one go?



Ah yes, that's what I'm looking for. Porn that advertises itself as "Erotic...Exotic...EPISODIC." It makes me laugh every time.

Oh hentai. I had one when I was younger called Dragon Knight. It was AWESOME and TERRIBLE. More terrible than awesome, but still.
