I totally heard that voice yesterday. Work was the longest day ever and then I went straight to Joel's to work on my thesis and adding another episode to the Speed Racer section was like grabbing fistfuls of gray matter and throwing it at drywall while screaming. And then I was like "I will lie down and relax" but my brain was like "WHIIRRRRRRRR WHIRWHIRWHIR" and then I went home and ate fud and stared at Oni for a while and then she yelled at me for taking her inside too early and then I was like "I WILL TAKE A NAP" but I actually had to drug myself to stop the need to run around the house in circles. And then I fell asleep forever.

If you're thinking about grad school, maybe you'd like to smash your face on a concrete curb instead? It yields similar results.

I should also mention that the same is true of working 8+ hours for a week straight. Today is day seven of getting up at 6:30 to be at the store by 7:30 so I can open at 8 because GOD KNOWS WHY.

Tomorrow my parents and I are driving to not Otakon Nebraska and I'm composing this list of things I need to do before then so that I can lie in the back of the car with a book on my face and not chew apart my seatbelt as the haunting guilt of my thesis flaps behind me on giant leathery wings.

I think that's it. God I wish I was going to Otakon and not Nebraska in August for more grieving. Also insane.

You just take care of things and don't die from heat and/or boredom in Nebraska. Once you get back, we will look at shiny new computer things for you to possibly get. That and we have our project of me watching anime porn.
