I admit that I was kind of weirded out by the thought of

cecilmcgrlybts getting married. Because Corin is a very old friend of mine and I'm weird about my friends getting married, as if it will take them away from me to places unknown and I'll never see them again because they'll be all OMGSOOOMAARRIIED and also maybe because it was my first wedding since Don and I parted.

But it was truly lovely and very sweet, and everything that a wedding between Corin and his lady Katie should have been. It was very them. It felt right. And it was short which was nice since mosquitoes were aiming for the face.

They both looked so happy and I was so happy for them and it was probably the nicest wedding I've ever been to. Nothing felt forced or frippy. It was all just very right and I'm so glad about it.

And of course I have my own weird wedding fantasies but they actually have always been more along the lines of giant Amber party for Amber. And I'm all right with that.

In non-wedding-related goings-on, tomorrow I will begin to move things into my new apartment and hope that

decken will soon be joining me. Or I'll kill her.

It is a Sunday, and I'm not at work. I've celebrated by sleeping excessively.
