maypirateThe proverbial jokes, all of them, are on me.
-My parents have decided to get new closets, and some of them will be in my room. My room has therefore been taken apart, and I have been sleeping down in the guestroom as my bed is covered in things.
-One of the construction people hit a water pipe today, which created a minor flood that came through the ceiling of the guestroom and got the futon wet. The room now smells crazy and I am out another place to sleep in my house. Hooray for the living room floor?
-The girl I talked to for an hour yesterday decided she wanted to live somewhere more downtown. She opted not to call me "mid-day" as she had said she would. I waited all day for her to call.
-So by the time I had this information and finally e-mailed the other girl (who doesn't yet have a phone), she had already found another place.
So once again, no roommates, and I have nowhere to sleep. Also I've worked every day since last Tuesday because I got called in on Sunday, my day off, my allergies have been bothering me nonstop, and I'm going to kill everyone.
The funniest part is, I kind of had a feeling this is how the roommate thing would turn out. Ha ha... hilarity.
Edit: So we put the futon outside yesterday to help it dry off. It's been clear every day this week. Last night? Yeah it rained. Futon's ruined.
At this point you really just gotta laugh.
