You don't second guess the desert
Nov. 12th, 2008 09:18 amThat's right! I knew I missed getting criticized at my job! Luckily I got it twice yesterday, once for using one of our "coffee cups" from our "coffeehouse" as a water receptacle, and then for the area behind the front counter being cluttered. But it's okay for my boss to put balloons and junk she's working on all over my desk? Can I go back to NekoCon now?
I seem to have caught the "decays" from somewhere.
Yesterday upon my return to work I was transformed into a sneezing abomination, and I'm sorry to say that things haven't completely changed yet; I'm still sniffling and inches away from sneezing at any given moment. And my face is raw from tissues. Also my period maybe started, or maybe not. Sometimes it starts, then it stops before it starts again with evil ferocity. I need to see a doctor about that. I don't care if you wanted to know that or not, now you do. Also I'm out of heartburn medication and it's an acid party just below my ribcage. Everyone is invited.
But tomorrow I'm going to adopt my guinea pigs! I've been having some nice e-mail conversations with their foster mom, and she's apparently a very talented artist. Physically she kinda reminds me of
soda_and_capes, which makes me very comfortable and familiar-feeling. She mentioned that Nicky has a blind/limited-vision eye, and wasn't sure if that would be a deal breaker, but I said of course not. Am want pigz.
So tonight, assuming I can put my face back together, I will clean my cage, build their cage, and purchase some new pigloos for them to sit in. Words cannot convey how excited and nervous I am.
And because of
enigma731, I watched House for the first time this season last night. There was minimal 13, and when she was there, she came across as a peripheral character and an idiot. I appreciated that. I also appreciate any combination of House/Wilson/Cuddy, and long may that triad reign. I am wary with my heart, and I don't know that I will ever commit to the show again, but watching it last night wasn't soul-gouging. So that was nice.
Now back to our regularly scheduled allergies.

Date: 2008-11-12 04:14 pm (UTC)Are you building them a C&C cage? Hooray for new pigloos!! I've given the Littlebutt a folded pillow to sit on or burrow in and Connor and Murphy have an old crib liner to sit on as the weather is getting chillier and they all need the extra warmth.
Pigtures are required the moment you have a chance!!!
