Laura took the TV away from the living room and it looks all empty and sad. I miss the TV. Also now I have no use for cable anymore, but I'll wait until Friday to ax it.

This was fuckishly hard because I could mostly only think of things that I don't like/am afraid of that start with O. But then I figured out a few.
1. I love Oni. And I miss her.
2. Oberlin. And I will always be happy that I went there for college.
3. Osaka. Um, even though I was only there like...twice? I dunno, I'm a fan of Kansai Airport? Whatever. It starts with freakin' O.
4. Ocean's 11. (And 12 and 13 for different reasons)
5. Oceans in general. Pisces' like the water.
6. Obsessive-compulsive disorder. It's my favorite!
And here's where I started reaching...

Pigs - Guinea pigs are wonderful and sweet and beautiful and I've had piggies since I was 6 and I think I appreciate them more now that I'm older and can see how awesomely great they are all the time, particularly thanks to Oni, who might just have been my soul-pig. I check a pig message board daily, I cry over sad pig stories, and I worry about my babies obsessively. They are such amazing little creatures.
Twins - Okay, so I had brothercest thing for a while that then evolved into a twincest thing, but I've pretty much recovered from that except in 1.5 cases. I wrote a thing a long time ago about why I, an only child, find twins so compelling, but I honestly can't remember what I said. I think it had something to do with a particular kind of bond or need between the two, being almost one person and yet never one person. Of course, it really had a lot to do with the specific groups of twins I happened to focus on.
Aidan - My precious Aidan is precious and wonderful and I'm glad that people associate him with me because it means that people are aware of him and that makes him more real. I owe his existence largely to the creativity oftimbean, his co-parent, and so much of the depth of his world and his special husband Thomas to jou. I usually have trouble with original characters and lose interest in them, or find them too much like myself and get disgusted, but Aidan really is kind of magical, and I'm so happy to have him in my life and to have people who put up with my talking about him. And who are willing to play with him too. <3
Prestige - I love "The Prestige." I loved the movie and then I loved the book and I love them in different ways and the same ways and I have a poster for it in my living room and it gave birth to the idea of Aidan so there's that, too. I think it's a masterful film, beautifully acted and put together, and I wish I could see it again for the first time. Everyone in it was so amazing. It's also a very special little fandom for me, as it's wherejou and soda_and_capes and I met, and I love them.
Art - Uh...I guess I used to draw? I dunno, I haven't drawn in a very long time. I miss it and yet I don't know how exactly to fix it. I drew so much more when I wasn't going insane at my job, and when I could sit in lectures and just have hours to absorb and create... I feel generally uncreative lately, and I know some of it is a function of being depressed and never having enough time, but I also just... I dunno, I draw better with other people around, and all my favorite drawing buddies have been missing from nearby. ;_; I admit I've been doodling little Star Trek faces, but I'm embarrassed and shy and worry I can't make art worth crap anymore. Also I have so many talented friends I get so intimidated when I think about my lack of practice! D:

Maggots - Maggots. That's great, Tim. I'm so thrilled to know you associate me with maggots. I fucking hate maggots. Maggots make me want throw up and I don't ever want to throw up so you know how bad they are. I'm guessing this is because of the maggots-in-the-outside-trashcan incident recently, but WHY DO YOU THINK OF MAGGOTS WHEN YOU THINK OF ME OH MY GOD.

Dryer - Once I climbed into my dryer (on the suggestion of CoE) andmonkeybobert took a picture. This was apparently a defining moment in my life. :F
Movies - I spend almost all day every day surrounded by movies at my video store. I have a large DVD collection. I love movies and I hate them, I talk about them too much and have ridiculous opinions and too little to say and I say it too loudly. At times I've had fantasies of being a movie star (more than just an extra) or actually becoming a director, but that would require a lot more schooling and I'm not sure about that yet... I just know that movies are incredibly important to me and also a source of great frustration. And I have seen many. I r film smrt.
Good heavens, I got wordy! Again, anyone is welcome to play. I'm gonna go clean a billion DVDs and be bored.
