Apparently Tuesday is gross bug day at work. At least this week's atrocity isn't as large as the last one. And I'm just going to leave it alone. The bugs can have the store. See if I care.

It's finally raining! It's all dark and impendingly fall-ish outside, and I like that, except for the part where then people return soggy DVDs. But urrgh, it makes me want to read a book in a corner. I feel like I haven't sat and read a book in ages. Well, and I haven't. I wonder if that's why I haven't been inspired for a while.

Also I spent a great deal of last night reading TWOP recaps of Heroes. And then watching Heroes. Apparently I like Heroes. Goddammit. I have absolutely no fandom inclinations toward it whatsoever, but I find the plot really interesting and I will at least finish this season and think thoughts. And admire Sylar's crazitude. soda_and_capes, we should discuss this all in general.

And sink_or_swim wants me to do this meme, and so I shall!

I feel the same way about reading. That stack of books on my nightstand? Yeah, I have quite a backlog. I suspect my lack of inspiration also stems from my lack of reading as well. We should incorporate reading into our current "help each other do things" kick. I think it would be good to get together and read!

I watched Heroes season 1 this summer and got really addicted. I was afraid I would be lost to it forever, but when the first season ended I was kind of content with that and as of yet have not felt compelled to continue. I like Sylar, too.

Sylar is more or less why I watch Heroes. I LOVE me some Milo Ventimiglia, but Peter sometimes bugs me. But Sylar's crazy killer so logical in his approach its scariness is compelling.
And I terribly have shipped Sylar/Claire since season 1.
