Mediocre presidents

Friday Danielle called me from Aruba to say she'd "broken her vagina" which I initially thought was some crazy sex thing, but actually involved a wind surfing accident and a trip to the emergency room. So now I'm going to go pick her up from the airport and while she says she's walking all right, she's in a lot of pain. I kind of wish I hadn't given my mom's old wheelchair. I suppose if she goes really limp I could probably drag her.

Yesterday infinityduck and I talked with a colleague of my dad's about career and job stuff, and it was remarkably helpful. She gave us both people to talk to and ideas, and it was a lot more interesting and informative than the other meetings like that I've had, so here's hoping it works out.

And also, 8 people failed to show up for our monthly staff meeting. We have a staff of 12. It was pretty ridiculous oh my god my dumb job.

But the snow is coming. I like snow.

Off to get my busted housemate.
