Troubled words, troubled minds
Feb. 28th, 2004 01:23 pmLast night was odd, to say the least, but it was nice to be home by 10. I think. Surreal, even.
There has to be something better to do in this city.
I realized a failing in myself, and that was to back down on my opinions about France when Nick Nappalo accused me of basing them on assumptions. True, most of them are, but I should have backed up the anti-Jewish thing. Because France is notoriously so, and on the way home I read an article in Newsweek about how anti-Jewish violence is increasing, and France doesn`t care. That much is true. I can say I hate that about France.
Also, as Kevin suggested, I read the New Yorker review of "The Passion of the Christ" and I dispatch it for to you, dear friends: http://www.newyorker.com/critics/cinema/?040301crci_cinema
I have only half-formed opinions. I don`t want to see the movie, but I do want to know what Don will say about it. And yet with what this review says, I`m terrified of David and Lydia going to see it.
Anyway, on the lighter side, had good conversation with Pairaka today, and have a weekend with no money to get a bunch of things done. I will try to be like dear Bob, and do my homework ridiculously in advance. Mwahahaha.
Um...eBay has no Sango dolls. My heart bleeds. CONE! FIND HER FOR ME AT ACEN!
And I will be home on April 27, 2004 AD. LESS THAT TWO MONTHS!! WHAHAHAHAHAHHCKCVNSBCjksd udfizxdguil sduilvhak!!!!
My back hurts, and I don`t know why.
Lunch was two Pop Tarts!
Now come on, Miroku. Let`s go home.
