Where do you come from

This afternoon I was going to talk to the guy who runs the Center for East Asian Studies here at UW, but he had to go to a funeral so it will be rescheduled. In my deepest fantasies, he will offer me a brilliant job. I know this is not likely, but I am allowed to dream totally implausible dreams.

infinityduck and I went to the gym and watched "The Vanishing" which was creepy and the moral is that you should never buy keychains from random men at rest stops.

Myself and all my cousins at my oldest cousin Saul's wedding. Wow, that was already 2.5 years ago. O.o It was a fun and happy and beautiful day. Also I looked pretty.


So this is my mom's side of the family. My mom is the oldest of five.

I love my family a great deal, but I don't get to see them very often. One of the reasons I entertain the idea of moving to California so much is the idea of actually getting to live near them for once in my life, since I was the only one to grow up far away. And I don't regret growing up in Madison, but I did get tired of conversations that went "Remember that one time? Oh right, Amber, you weren't there." Jerks. :p
