In the winter of 2009, I joined a dating site to keep a friend company. I met a guy. We became friends. I thought it would be a charming casual acquaintance.

Now he has been my boyfriend for one year. Sometimes it seems like so much longer, and then suddenly I wonder where all that time went so fast.

And being with him has proven to me that I really do have a type: men with brown hair, who eat raw noodles despite my shrieking, make bad puns, and whose favorite episode of MST3K is "Space Mutiny."

Happy 1 year, infinityduck! You are my kind and gentle nuzzy companion, and you are the Servo to my Crow.

And maybe you would rather be Crow, but I'm writing this, and so I get to decide who is which robot. :)

Congratulations to you guys! I think you are the Crow in the relationship. It was about this time last year that I went to Madison and met Chris for the first time. It does seem like much more than one year ago.
