Orc packers woooo
Mar. 23rd, 2010 08:31 amI have returned from Nashville!
Despite
caffeaffogato's misgivings, no one mummified my head. We had a very nice and relaxing time that went by way too fast because suddenly I'm back at work and I don't know where the last five days went.
infinityduck's parents were very hospitable and his friends were neat, particularly his friend Josh who is so tall he makes the 6' Chris look little. And there was a shiba inu named Simba and I petted him lots. :F
Nashville itself was prettier than I expected, and the weather was lovely except for Sunday, which was fine because we spent the entire day watching the extended Lord of the Rings (Lord of the Riiiings!!!!) on his father's giant screen and it was epic and beautiful. Prior to that, we went to the zoo, explored the Nashville Parthenon, perused several used book/DVD stores to great profit, made papertoys, watched movies, and got much sleeping done.
Our drive back from Milwaukee yesterday was nice and at home I caught up on piggy nose-pokings and LJ, although there is still much to be done on the internet and in the world, like memes and bills and grocery shopping and shouting. Did anyone have anything of note happen to them or just want to holler at me? Please do!
Also I must rub Mad Men all over myself. Cuz season 3 comes out today (unless you're me and had it last week), but I've so far epically failed to get very far into season 2 with
decken, so it must wait to be consumed in its deliciousness. But I can still touch it.
Oh gosh, Passover is less than a week away! I need to start considering my koshery course of action.

Date: 2010-03-25 04:31 am (UTC)...myself and 6? friends did this one Saturday back in grad school. It started around noon and went well past 1am.
-_- We stopped for dinner and bathroom breaks between movies.
BUT STILL. NEVER. AGAIN.
Never suspected to discover anyone else attempting that feat. We realized how dumb it was in the end.
HOW ARE THE PIGGY BUMS?

Piggy bums are bummy. Nicky's eye is slowly getting a little worse, but she still doesn't seem to be in pain and it's not like anything can be done without removing her entire eye and putting her in extreme danger, so... anyway, she comes for kisses every time I bring them food. And Olivia is a fussy fussy bee. That's her thing. :F
