So Saturday was a day, yeah.

Terrifying birthday dinner with extended host family was less terrifying than anticipated, perhaps because it was filled with gyoza. Mmm. Gyoza. I know lots of people had gyoza this weekend because some MOTHERFUCKERS went to the GYOZA THEME PARK without ME, and they MIGHT have NAMES THAT START WITH M and end with EGAN and/or BE REID!

Jerks.

It`s okay. I didn`t want to hear the banshee giggle anyway. *is a real bitch*

Anyway, they gave me presents, and it was very sweet. The coolest was undoubtedly the plush mushroom from Miwa, which is also a box. I kid you not. It`s amazing. Host niece Ahiro took a shine to it. It allowed us to actually communicate on a very basic level. In that I wiggled the mushroom around and she smiled. Right. SUCCESS.

So I got the right host family for me. And I`m happy with that.

I read a whole real book, without pictures (kicks Kevin) and started another one that isn`t as cheerful and not quite as good. And I heard nothing from anyone all weekend.
