Like America, yo. My guestroom.
So Ise was rather boring, in fact. I did get to sleep in a bed, that was nice. Too bad you can`t actually see into Ise Shrine and that the "wedded rocks" are like two feet from shore.
At least I saved money. AKP`s alotted lunch money paid for three (3!!!) new animal-themed hats, which was very exciting. Mmmm. Hats.
My favorite part was when our bus hit a van. Because of that we got to take the train home.
My other favorite part was Kevin throwing up on the bus. I think I dealt with it remarkably well, which was by attempting to launch myself into the seat in front of us while covering my ears. Then I assumed the role of SUPER COOL AWESOME NURSE OF POWER WHO KNOWS ALL ABOUT STOMACH PROBLEMS!!!!! and made them stop the bus. And acted nurse-y by telling anecdotes about times my stomach has tried to kill me, feeling his forehead every three hours, and saying "You look terrible." I should have a career in medicine. I bought him a healing monkey. The day was saved.
I also feel like if you want to hear about what was ostensibly the best part of the trip, you can read about the "college party" that everyone else from AKP wrote about. It just goes to show that I`m an elitist bitch when everyone is like "That ruled!" and I`m like, "Frankly, it was boring and not worth my time, which is why I went to sleep." I feel like Oliver already wrote out my heart on this subject in his own journal, so once again, I point you in that direction. My idea of a party is what we have at home with the "Wife parties" and such. Not falling down drunk look how many beer cans we have let`s play terrible music and HEY STOP KICKING ME! YOU KNEW I WAS THIS WAY BEFORE WE STARTED! You have your fun, and I`ll have mine. Alone. In the dark. Where I can see me naked. WHAT A PARTY!
An update on my own insides: they feel crappy today.
An update on my state of mind: THERE IS NO GOOD MUSIC TO LISTEN TO IN THIS COUNTRY AND THE LOCAL BAND FROM MY AREA IS SUPERIOR TO THE LOCAL BAND FROM YOUR AREA AND YOUR FAVORITE BAND SUX.
I don`t even know what I`m thinking right now, but I`m wondering if I should sit around AKP doing nothing and waiting for Sumi-e to get out or just go home.
I TALKED TO DON ON THE PHONE AND IT WAS AMAZING!!!
And Megan called me to take pity on a poor keeboo that needed attention.
I think I`ll just go home.
