So it turns out I'm allergic to everything.

Except guinea pigs (thank god) and cockroaches (...hooray?). And some molds.

But the full list involves many trees, weeds, grasses, cats and dogs.

And now I have to live a less dusty life and I got poked by a poking device 25 times and it was the itchiest five minutes of my life. My arms are covered in little welts, so it looks like I've been attacked by an angry squid, and they are sore and I have four new medications to take.

Wooooo nature hates me.

Oh goodness, you're allergic to dogs. That's sad and I hope that means you will never visit my house again. We do try to keep it clean, as we know others with dog allergies.

I can visit your home to make life easier, though.

The dog allergy was relatively minor, and honestly your house has never been a problem, so I think as long as I never rub my faces directly on the dogs, I should be fine. :)

So ... there's a way, apparently, to suppress many allergies, but it's likely that you'd find the cure worse than the disease. Apparently, many symbiotic parasitic infections will take the edge off allergies. The problem is of course that you have to seek out a parasite. Also the evidence is still anecdotal and has not been rigorously tested yet.

THIS IS A THOUGHT I WILL HAVE TO CONSIDER.

Man I wish I'd made it to the parasite museum in Meguro. I'd be so up on this.

Man, allergies are balls. I'm sorry baby! I remember that allergy test. Ironically, the only thing I WAS allergic to was cockroaches. Or uh, cockroach dust. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR PAIN. :(

At least you're not allergic to the pigs! I am also allergic to many trees, weeds, grasses, cats. I wish i had an extensive list to document it. But not so much that I want to be poked by a poking device and get an itchy arm.

I hope that new medications and things help you suffer less.

The poking device was not syringe-y, so it wasn't as traumatizing as having ONE MILLION SHOTS, but I don't think you'd like it anyway. I don't recommend it as a fun activity either.

I am already suffering less! It's amazing! I can go outside and not fall to the ground convulsing in sneezes! THE DAY IS MINE.
