Nov. 15th, 2010 10:30 amThe conclusion of my Sunday involved ST: TOS, curry, and lots of "Say Yes to the Dress" because oh it is so very very watchable.
And then this morning I woke up with one of those ocular migraines, which luckily passed fairly quickly, although I'm kind of waiting for it to come back and bite me.
I was considering making a somewhat soapbox-y post about being an unapologetic member of the depression-medication taking populace, but...eh. If you want my thoughts about that you can ask. Here's a meme from
recrudescence instead:
The Rules: Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen authors (poets [and comic book authors] included)* who've influenced you and that will always stick with you. List the first fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes. Tag everyone, because I'm interested in seeing what authors my friends choose.
1. Douglas Coupland
2. Haruki Murakami
3. Tana French
4. Amy Tan
5. Ray Bradbury
6. The authors of "Little Fur Family"
7. William Shakespeare (shut up, it's true)
8. Whoever wrote "The Metaphysical Club"
9. Tim O'Brien
10. Christopher Priest
11. Natsuo Kirino
12. David Sedaris
13. The poet who wrote "At Lake Scugog," which is a poem from "The New Yorker" that I have hanging on my fridge and I'm mildly obsessed with it
14. Edgar Allen Poe
15. A bunch of people on my flist and in my life, honestly
I feel like it's gonna be a really long day, but I simply must go to yoga tonight.

I'll let you know every time I have one so you can fix it.
