Happy really late Thanksgiving, if you are/were Thanksgiving-inclined, and I hope everyone else had a decent Thursday, and I'm sorry for everyone who had to work on Black Friday.

Yesterday I moseyed on down to Evanston and retrieved a timbean for my weekend purposes. We had lunch and stopped at Mitsuwa and then came home and finally watched Boondock Saints 2 which was...alternately frustrating and rage-inducing and then it would remind us of things that we loved and actually that was frustrating too and I've been reading a little BDS fic for the first time in years and almost want one of my BDS icons back and it's WEEEEIRD.

Ahem. So. Complicated feelings about Connor and Murphy are complicated (and what the hell, Connor has the top of a tattoo, Murphy has the bottom HOW IS IT SO EASY), we acquired jou and infinityduck and Tim and Jo looked at porn online and provided a running commentary, then I bestowed upon her the first X-Files episode she had ever seen and then there was sleeping. Because apparently in the Navy, you don't sleep. Also you can get killed on land. Who knew?

GOOD TIMES. Now we must face the cold light of day. I also must clean the piggycage and trim some piggynails.

This post reminded me that I've had a copy of the second movie since June but hadn't watched it. So...I had to go have a mini-marathon. I think the weirdest part was seeing how everyone aged (or didn't, in the case of Billy Connolly, since he's done about all the aging he's going to do). o_O

I watched Public Enemies with my parents last week. Tried using your timestamps to find the two scenes but I don't think my clock is matching yours (I got the court scene for #1 and "blurry camera right after Dillinger revs his car while escaping" as #2).
