Yeah uh so in the end? Turns out that it was a really big hill that took forever to climb up and the icy air felt terrible and we were all out of shape and asdufhadsk. We actually only made it up and down five times before trudging back to the car feeling older and more worn. And cold. So cold. It took hours and hours to warm up again. People like jazzy_peaches who run winter marathons and jump into ice covered lakes commandeer even more of my respect now. You are badasses.

And I wiped out trying to avoid hitting Chris while riding the demon sled, and now my butt and arm hurt, although they have not yet turned pretty colors.


Also, my friend Dommi could still use your help. Her cat Al went through his second surgery today, making the hospital bill unfortunately even higher. People have already been so incredibly generous, but if you could spare anything else or even just keep Al in your thoughts, that would be great. Thanks guys. ♥

I've only been sledding there once. My daughter keeps wanting me to go again, but climbing that hill will give me a heart attack and I'm putting it off as long as possible. You need to do it on one of those blow up sleds, though. They're awesome until they pop!

And we actually did have an innertube sled in the car, but it was kind of deflated and I think none of us wanted to trying blowing it up. But damn that would have been intense.
