For whatever reason, today I feel like this:



If there was a tree here, you bet I'd be up it, glaring wild cavy-style. I'm all grumpy for some reason, and magically crampy, and I have to go to yoga tonight and ugh.

There's also no reason for me to feel rundown, since I pretty much slept for a million years yesterday except for the part where I moved bricks around my parents' garden. Largely unproductive me was unproductive. At least I have tomorrow off so hopefully I'll get shit done. Or at least clean my damn kitchen.

Who wants to help cheer me up with a meme I stole from a bunch of people? I promise I'll do it this time, for real! PLEAASE.

1. I adore him. I think he is a beautiful animal of specialness who is misunderstood and under-appreciated. He snuck into my world and set up his own things and then was like "hey, I'm here now." It takes a lot of nerve to do that with me.

2. JAMES T. KIRK. Yeah, who knew that's where I'd end up, sittin' in the Kikipups boat. Also sometimes Chapel, in fics by sink_or_swim. And occasionally an OC named Tana Markay (http://images.askmen.com/photos/ellen-page/ellen-page-89788.jpg) (they dated in the academy).

3. Chekov, I guess. I like them being good friends, but I've never been very interested in them banging. I think him being good friends with Uhura too is super hot.

4. I don't really see Sulu as much of an adrenaline junkie, which seems to be the standard interpretation. That doesn't mean he's any less of a badass, just a weirder badass. My Sulu is also not necessarily emotionally stable, kind of moody, and prone to listening to kind of awful music.

5. I just want more. MORE. All of the more-ness.

1. I LOVE TOM. He is a terrible grumpy man who should never be left alone with other humans that aren't Aidan, but I love him, and I love how much he loves Aidan, and that's really what matters.

2. Aidan. Of course. Of course. In another world or time, maybe Lix. Or even Andrea. But I mean...Aidan kind of cancels out all the options there.

3. I like his friendship with Lix, and also his growing rapport with Bones.

4. Uhh...is there even a fandom to have an unpopular opinion about Tom? I think we decided no.

5. Sometimes I think "Space Oddity" would have been an awesome thing to really happen, but I also feel that way about him maybe sleeping with Lix a few times. I don't know that I wish it had happened, I just find it fun to think about. Of course I want he and Aidan to get their bookstore/wine bar someday. But who wouldn't want that for them.

1. BONES IS A MAN. >.> Okay so right now I'm having some difficulty with Bones. There's a lot of residual bitterness in my heart over my epic failure to understand him as a character and a person, so I'm all angry-pouty at him half the time, because I thought he was my favorite character, but then he wasn't, and I thought I understood him but I didn't, and yet I worry about him being lonely when Jim and Sulu are off being happy-happy together. Sometimes I think I've never forgiven him for not being Robert Chase (who is part of my spirit animal) but like... urgh, I dunno. Bones and I are glarey these days, but I do like him. I just don't understand him and he's too against "sewing people together like garments" to apply all my good old-time surgery knowledge to, which is always sad for me.

...BUT HE'S A GOOD GUY. I STILL CARE ABOUT HIM. JUST WITH SOME TENSION.

2. Uh...at this point? I don't know. In my RP world with Jo, which has eclipsed lots of other lifestyles, I pair him with Spock. I used to be all for Jim/Bones, and I still read it in some cases, so there's that.

3. I am always, always an advocate of Jim and Bones being best friends. I am into that. I also like him being friends with Uhura. Apparently I just like that with everyone, though.

4. Uh...I guess my head-Bones doesn't have a daughter. I dunno if Joanna not being around is unpopular... I also don't really think he would go around repeatedly calling Spock a "green-blooded hobgoblin," because I mean...once you've used that insult, it's pretty much done. It's not a repeated-use sort of thing.

5. I...have no idea! I don't tend to think about Bones so much anymore. >.> I guess I hope he's happy. I like it when he's around. I suppose it would be super awesome for me if he interacted with Sulu more, because I tend to play a Bones and Sulu who don't like each other, and I'd be interested to see a different viewpoint.

IN CONCLUSION I DO LIKE BONES, WE JUST DON'T TALK VERY MUCH ANYMORE.
