-Today is a day of many birthdays! Happy birthday sink_or_swim, recrudescence, calendae, and affectingly! I wish you all Kirk/McCoyness, Inceptitude, luck with your papers, and whatever else might make it a good and fancy day!

-I found a job I am going to apply for. I've been mentally composing the letter that must accompany it, and hopefully will also get that done tonight.

-I got an email with this header, and I find it terribly amusing: We've missed you on Twitter, Asuka Langley Sohryu! Something about being addressed as Asuka just makes me smile.

-I have a new idea in the realm of "terrible things to have tattooed onto myself." Previous it was just the MACH 5 and an Asuka. Now it's this too:



Why yes, that's Charlotte's gate. Yeah, why don't I get one on each shoulder and Asuka in the middle, that'll be great! :F Apparently no matter what else changes, somewhere deep inside I will always be a big anime nerd. But ssdhgskhdgks mach 5 aarrghggmmmm why don't we throw on some pigs while we're at it

-I eat too many scones in general. But is this really a crime? Film at 11.

Thank you for the birthday shout out!

I would personally hold off on getting Charlotte's gate until you've been into her at least a year, but that's just me. You've loved Asuka and the Mach 5 forever, but Charlotte is a relatively recent thing.

And oh, definitely. I have a rule about tattoos in general, where I have to be committed to something for several years, which is why I didn't ultimately end up with Al's bloodseal on my back. :F I just think the Charlotte design is awesome and kind of vague, so it would be pretty neat. But really the idea of the Mach 5 kind of makes me gibber more than anything else.
