I love pigs, I love every kind of pig, I want to put them on a rainbow

It's Wednesday, it's been disgustingly hot, and now it is time for a GRATUITOUS PIG SPAM. Because everyone needs that.

I also wanted to thank everyone who expressed concern over starsandgraces's pigtragedy last week, and pass on that Milly and Mandy are under careful watch but doing fine. And Molly is fondly and lovingly remembered, and her sisters likely survived because of her. Hail Molly.

So the weekend before last I bathed my own pigs, which is always fabulous picture fodder, and now I throw it all at you because I can.







Nicky is usually very well behaved, but I think at this point she was starting to lose her patience and feeling downright embarrassed.



Safely in her drying-sack. And so for Nicky, the terror was over.



But for Olivia, it was just beginning!



I finally realized that one of Olivia's (many) problems is that she hates having her feet wet, especially the front ones. So she tries to stand on her back legs and slips and gets more wet and everything is terrible. Holding her front feet for her helped a little.



Awww, escape attempt.



Oh, the indignity.



Oh, the pigmanity!



But at last it was over.



She sulked on the rug for a while, though.



Nicky meanwhile had completely recovered and was all about the grass. Mmmm, grassmogu.

Olivia has not yet forgotten how she suffered.



And we all lived happily ever after. Well, for a while. Then the mosquitoes came for me.

Hooray for clean peeegz. Nicky and Olivia having bath time is somewhat similar to Remy and Buckley having bath time, where Remy is compliant and Buckley thinks his world is ending because there is water running in the tub.

But they shall both get baths anyway this evening because they are at daycare and will by stinky when they get home.

My crazy dog went and rolled directly in the dirt after her last bath. And then immediately jumped onto to the couch and rubbed the mud all over. le sigh.

I should post the video of us bathing the Malamute, because he's just such a pathetic woobie when it comes to baths.
