In any case, as I sit in bed listening to the little birdies chirp outside, I can't help but think how useful this jetlag thing would have been when I needed to be setting up for the line at the hospital RIGHT NOW. In fact I looked at the clock at exactly 4:55 AM and thought "I know this time, oh, I know it well." Since the line is gone, I wonder if they make people come in this early anymore? I never sent any postcards from Japan. I'm an asshole.
I am sitting under my fuzzy zebra-patterned blanket, which Kevin interprets as being filthy. Yeah, well Mr. Who-are-you-again, you're the filthy one, and you can pet my not-filthy blanket when you haul your ass up here. And you and Cone both owe me, because I was totally fine with this sleeping thing until I talked to you guys. You're obviously contagious.
In any case, motoring down to Oberlin on Saturday will certainly be an adventure in my present state. I hope I can stay awake from now until an appropriate time this evening, and hopefully that time will NOT be while watching British enjoyment with beloved Bob whose Jane Austin addiction, while somewhat terrifying, has not dampened the fact that she is magicxx hott.
And Don is given a coupon to kick me in the face every time I comment on his spelling for the next month thanks to me wondering why searching for "Avirl Lavinge" didn't work. Since when does the internet make you spell anything correctly? Also I was looking for "Complicated," which was my song with Tomoko at karaoke.
Successful excuse in place, chirpy birdies, darkness, and thou, Miroku.
If I can't sleep tomorrow night, I know two people who are going to get scorpions mailed to them.
