The week, it passes. I've been living in my new sweatshirt/jacket/fuzzfarm every day and it hasn't gotten old yet. I feel super fancy.

Apparently in transit to the new space we lost/misplaced/got rid of the store's microwave, so every time I need to reheat my rice-with-stuff-on-it based lunches I have to go upstairs to the coffee shop and ask to use theirs. And granted I spend a lot of money there, but I still feel bad and I wish we could have nice things but we can't have nice things.

Tomorrow night is "Freak Fest" downtown, which means I will be as far from there as possible. We're actually closing the store early (since we're withing the party perimeter and don't want to deal with masses of drunks), and my boss had illusions of people coming in and working to unpack some of the stuff we still have left, but to that I say "HA!" Ha. Ain't no way.

yawmin made this for me. It's a line from the MST3K episode "Girl in Gold Boots," which is one of my very favorites, and honestly... it's just an invaluable quote for me. Because I often feel this way, and it can be used to explain so many situations. And also I once broke an ibook simply by touching it, so clearly I have some kind of terrible power.



jou made this for me in the heady early days of Aidanverse. To be completely honest, they're Dante's guns from the "Devil May Cry" series, and they're really called "Ebony and Ivory," but we gave them to Aidan, who gave one to Tom, and now they are called "Baby and Darlin'." I don't remember which is which, but just...aren't they pretty?

I dream of tribbles. And I've mentioned it before, but for many years I often said that all I ever wanted out of Star Trek anything was tribbles. Funny how that worked out. So...I dunno, I need a good tribble icon, and who would suspect that Bones thinks of tribbles NONSTOP?



From "Shaun of the Dead." Uh, mostly because many of the to-do lists I make start with the admonition to myself to "SORT LIFE OUT."It just seemed appropriate.

I never seem to get my to-do lists done, though. At least I have this icon to remind me.


Aaaaand yeah. Punchspiration and cookie party with sail_aweigh resulted in about 4000 words but there's still more to go than I anticipated, and tonight I am going to a COOOOORN MAAAAAZE, which I did last year, but this time it will be in the dark and I may never be seen again. I'll keep people posted.

Also that tribble icon of Bones is a favorite because tribbles + Bones = ridiculous Karl Urban cooing at a round fur blob in my mind, which I would pay very good money to see.
