It was surprisingly hypnotic
May. 4th, 2004 11:29 pmI would call Oberlin a success. I saw everyone I needed to see, even ate at dear Stevenson, and slept on a few floors. Joel and Chenya were sufficiently cute. It reminded me of when Don and I first started going out. Then I felt old.
Or if not old, at least...knowing. Wow. Go me.
In any case, my laptop has fucked itself to shit, and I have no idea how. Joel needs to come over and remedy this potentially disastrous situation ASAP. STAT, even.
Welcome home, Nick.
Welcome back to life, Megan. I don't have your AIM, so THERE. I don't know how to talk to you! And I can't find my pirates sheet! ALL IS PANICKING!
I did not leave the House today, and spent most of the day online. This is all I dreamed of for months on end. And now it's mine.
We have ice cream that is Irish Cream flavored with chocolate swirls and cookie bits and stuff. It's amazing, and it's worth the stomach pain to eat it.
Oberlin was also successful because it took us past Mitsuwa so I could buy huge and expensive bottles of all my teas. It was weird to walk in there and know that at that time last week I was in Japan. CRAZY HOW THIS WORLD WORKS.
I miss you too, Oliver.
PARTY IN WISCONSIN WOOOOOOOO!
Tomorrow I will make a play for a job and finally go to Borders in pursuit of the movie Spellbound. And cry about my lost camera some more.
