I thought I'd try a "not a total bummer" update for the first time in a while, but it's still kind of a bummer.

I had two minor anxiety attacks this weekend, caused possibly by being nervous all day Friday and then by...I don't even know. My mom suggests it is, as ever, my house. Once again, the question of moving comes up, but as usual, the "I like my room so much..." argument precludes any rational thought. Very frustrating. Will need to make counsellor appointment for when I come back.

I meant to apply for a grant to go to Japan over winter break, but I couldn't come up with a good project idea. In fact I couldn't come up with any project ideas because nothing sounded interesting at all. I think they were kind of disappointed I didn't apply, but I seriously was not able to come up with one articulate idea.

I'm really seriously worried about Bob and I don't know how to get into contact with her. I guess I'll be paying a visit to her house over Thanksgiving.

I have to e-mail Kevin and Aki and Tomoko, but really, in general I'm just tired. I hope going home for Thanksgiving will assuage this terrible lethargy of body and thought.

Sorryyyy...one day this will be exciting again.

I'm with you on the whole Bob thing. It especially worries me that Mink wonders where she is. I wouldn't mind going with you or, if you just want to let me know what you find out, that'd be cool too.

Didn't mink say something about her going home for christmas at the end of her post? It sounded like she got in contact with at least the kern parents...

Bob is alive and well, it seems. She just won't have internet access until Dec. 10th unless she figures out how to use it at school. Bob will be in Madison from the 21st (?) to the 1st, I think, for Christmas. And that's all I know.
