SoI'm home now, after the most incredible road trip I've ever been on. I now know about the existence of La Porte Indiana, and I got to scale a scrap-yard fence.

Here are elements that it included:
-traffic cones
-Archie's 24 hour restaurant
-crazy women
-constant smoking
-"My brother used to live up in Madison before he got kicked out"
-a Dodge that didn't catch on fire like they usually do
-42 haikus
-Jake's mom
-Bumble Justice
-Crudely-fashioned weapons and pictograms
-styrofoam bits
-the Arby's oven mitt
-......okay, I'll stop there.

I wanted to thank Don and Bob and Jake and Joel for coming to get me. It's not every day you get to have both the most important people in two worlds come together. Thank you for coming to get me. It was an amazing start to my break, and there's no other group of people I would rather have been stuck in a car with.

Ah...the world goes on and gets better and crazier every year I'm alive.
