With the lemons and the tanks
Jun. 21st, 2005 02:31 amDear Amber,
Please stop reading various books and then seeing the animated adaptations of them. It keeps turning out badly.
Love, Me
Having fallen headfirst into the bottomless love pit that is FullMotherfucking Alchemist, I was uber psyched to see the anime, which I rented tonight and which then pulled out my heart and stomped on it. I'll have to transmute the shattered pieces into something whole, and I can't believe I just said that, I am such a loser.
But I digress.
I really, REALLY need to not read things that I plan on watching on the moving picture box. Because then I go places and expect stuff and it keeps turning into a bummer. And Ed sounded kinda scarily like Tetsu from PMK, which made me think of ugly anime Tetsu, and then I felt sad and a little creeped out. I would like to have seen the first episode, though. They had the wrong DVD behind the box for the first disc, so I ended up with the second one. The flashbacks looked absolutely horrifying, and I was intrigued.
I'm still very interested in the fact that I'm so terribly attached to Ed, when he's the main character and all. Usually I'm more into secondary characters. Goddammit, it was supposed to begin and end with Roy!
...who is still sexier, but doesn't make the faces and isn't around enough.
And where was Riza's beautiful hair?! Siiiiiiigh...
But the ending theme did make me very happy.
A thing I ordered from a place has NOT COME YET and it's driving me up the wall.
Also, I applied to Barnes and Noble today, Oni got her own special shampoo for pretty little girls, and she will have her first bath tomorrow.
And "Arrested Development" is still amazing.
I made me another new icon. I may need that fifty icons thing soon, which is something I should not be spending money on...
Me too, Ed. Meeeee toooooo.
